The election has definitely been a trending topic in the past few weeks. Candidates Donald Trump and Joe Biden have two very different platforms and the results are sure to shake the world no matter how the election may go. Some people love Trump and hate Biden. Others love Biden and hate Trump. Then there are those who think both candidates are equally disgraces. Which side do YOU fall on?
2. Coronavirus
Another trending topic is the Coronavirus, which is also known as COVID-19. Originating in China, COVID-19 quickly spread to the United States and began to takeover. There have been approximately 231,000 deaths that have been COVID related. Some people however, believe that COVID is a hoax and was never a threat.
3. Me Too Movement
The "Me Too Movement" is a social movement created to give victims of sexual abuse and sexual harassment the chance to come forward and speak out against their abusers. It helped survivors around the world realize that they were not alone and showed just how widespread and worldwide sexual abuse and harassment is.
4. Police Reform
A HUGE topic on every social media platform is the discussion of police reform. The subject of Black Lives Matter vs Blue Lives Matter is a very touchy and tender subject. Some believe that police are simply doing their jobs to serve and protect while others believe they are downright abusing their power. This topic always makes for an interesting conversation.

To carry or not to carry. Guns in the U.S. are relatively easy to purchase & even get on the streets. A lot of citizens believe that the process to purchase firearms should be a lot more thorough but the people who live by the 2nd amendment do not agree and think that it is their God-given right to earn bear arms.
To vaccinate or to not vaccinate, that is the question. Many new aged parents have opted out of having their children vaccinated. While there are a plethora of reasons for each parent, a lot of parents tend to believe that the vaccines cause developmental issues in their kids.

Is global warming real? Well, Antartica is literally melting so I'd suppose so! Global warming has been an ongoing issue but there are hardly any real solutions to stop or reverse it. Besides recycling, there needs to be talks and plans of how in the world we're going to save Earth!

Marijuana usage has been a topic that is widely discussed and debated on. Some states allow it for medicinal purpose only, others permit it for recreational usage, and some say no-no to usage at all. The legalization is issued on a state by state basis but there have been pushes for congress to legalize it for recreational and medicinal usage in all 50 states.

The world is so beautiful and there is SO much to see. From Italy, to Japan, to Hawaii, there are amazing opportunities that can be experience when traveling.
